James is STILL here....keeping you on the water! Performance Propeller of Nashville, Inc. opened its' doors in 1984. The "prop shop" in Old Hickory, Tennessee has since provided boaters with the best NEW & USED propellers for sale, and complete boat propeller repair services to damaged propellers. James McInturf was the lone employee/owner, with just one goal: to offer the best new and used boat propeller sales and repair services through specialized customer service. We have grown quite a bit over the years and we have seen the boating industry change, but one thing has always remained ... our dedication to customer service! The first customer at the shop was John Brackeen. He had hit his propeller on the boat ramp and decided to give the "new prop shop" a try. That was over 3 decades ago, and John is still a valued customer and we are still repairing his props. Now, with four more dedicated people on our team, and a combined experience of over 85 years working on boat propellers, our goal is still the same...
